Job Title: Area Manager
Reports To: Vice President of Operations
Status: Level II (Exempt)

Description:
An Area Manager is responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of his/her centers within his/her responsible area (an area is comprised of centers with the Directors of those centers reporting to the Area Manager) to insure they meet or exceed the goals of the Company by supporting its values.

Qualifications/Requirements:
A successful Area Manager must be able to adequately perform each essential duty, and have the following education and experience:

Essential Duties:

  1. Provides leadership and guidance to Directors.
  2. Meets Center and area enrollment and operating profit objectives.
  3. Maintain Centers in compliance with federal, state and/or local regulations.
  4. Ensure that Centers adhere to Brightside Academy 'spolicy, procedures and brand assurance standards.
  5. Works collaboratively with the other departments.
  6. When requested, assist with the opening of new centers.
  7. When requested, assist with mentoring new AMs.
  8. Constructs action plans and gives timely feedback to each Director to guide them in maximizing their potential and that of their facility.
  9. Marketing and community involvement.
  10. Spends approximately 80% of time in Centers.
  11. Financial Management
  12. Program Administration
  13. All other duties as assigned.
