Job Title: Assistant Director in Training
Reports To: Center Director
Status: Level II (Exempt)

Description:
Responsible for assisting the Director with the planning and implementation of the daily program activities as well as other general management duties within the center.

Qualifications/Requirements:
A successful Assistant Director in Training must be able to adequately perform each essential duty, and have the following education and experience:

Essential Duties:
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  1. Ensures that the children are supervised at ALL times by self and/or staff.
  2. Assists the director in the planning and implementation of the daily program activities.
  3. Coordinating activities of all classroom staff and assist with staff professional development
  4. Knowledge of children enrolled and in attendance, their room assignment and funding status.
  5. Assists the Director to ensure that the center is operating efficiently and in compliance with all Brightside Academy policies, state regulations and Environmental Rating Scales for all age groups.
  6. Become proficient in all required corporate paperwork . These responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
  7. Communicates all relevant information to the Center Director with respect to staff, children and parents.
  8. Provides exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
  9. All other duties as assigned.
